KCOU is an FCC-accredited radio station located in Columbia, Missouri. I served as a show host and staff writer for the station in my time there. My duties there included researching for shows, organizing outlines, producing and hosting a weekly show as well as editing it into podcast format.
Aug 2021-Present
The Columbia Missourian is a local newspaper in Columbia Missouri. I am currently a reporter there and have covered the K-12 or youth beat. My responsibilities include; finding and researching stories, conducting interviews with relevant subjects, covering general breaking news, and going through the revision process with an editor.

As a junior at the University of Missouri I have had multiple years of instruction at one of the world's premier journalism schools. This, paired with my experience at KCOU and the Missourian have left me with such skills as:
