My Mission

As a writer, I strive to create investigative and engaging content with a purpose; content that has the ability to create change or aid public information.

Too often media outlets point out the same problems, cover them in the same fashion, and fail to move the needle in any significant way. I aim to overcome that complacency every day by providing unique perspectives on issues, letting lesser-heard voices enter the story, and providing solutions to problems.

I believe in the power of the profession of journalism to change the world for the better and I plan to use that power to the best of my abilities.
